I've been very happy this past few days coz Hannah's been smiling more as if she already knows us well. It was really a deligthful moment which certainly removes all the stress and tiresome day I had at work to see her smile at me. Even if she wakes up early in the morning like if I change her diaper she would glance at me and give me her toothless baby smile. I am so touched that I really won't mind waking up early every day so just I could see her smile at me. I know eventually a giggle and a laugh would soon follow and I can't wait to witness it already!

Say Hello Hannah!
Nothing much to write about, we're just here on our house and I just finished feeding Hannah. Next saturday would be her next check-up with her pediatrician, I think she's have another vaccination, I just don't know yet what type. I'll post here the update on saturday...
Anyway I'll just leave you with my daughter's latest pic taken just a few days ago... say HELLO Hannah!

Cute Baby Poem
I enjoyed reading this Family Poem, "I never knew" at Family Friend Poems. This poem really touched my heart, as if the writer really knew what I really feel inside my heart.
I Never Knew
© Martha L. Sheridan
I never knew I could love so much,
until the day I felt your touch.
I softly kissed your tiny cheek,
and from under your lashes I saw you peek.
Your beautiful eyes so small and blue,
my sweet little baby just brand new.
I cannot wait to watch you grow,
from your little head to your tiny toes.
My daughter my love, my little joy,
my little angel, my baby doll toy.
I promise to love you with all my heart, I'm hear for you from the very
start.
I'll comfort you when you cry,
I'll answer true when you ask me, Why?
While you grow be sweet and kind,
and show all others how much you shine.

Nanny Woes
I'm so pissed right now with the nanny of my daughter! She's been with us for only a week and yet she already wants to go home! She has so many alibis, like she misses her mom, she's sick, she doesn't get along with my mother and so on and so forth. She's also gossiping to the other nanny on the house(Adriel's nanny) that she's jealous of her coz she doesn't work that much inside the house. Whhaat??? She was the one who doesn't have much work, the only thing I ask her to do is clean Hannah's bottles, feed her, hold her and basically just look after her. She doesn't bathe her, she was not the one exhausted every night due to Hannah's frequent crying and waking up in the middle of the night. And yet she was jealous of Adriel's nanny? Mel, Adriel's nanny's job is much difficult since she takes care of a one and a half year old toddler whose just over the top with his naughtiness.
I told her that if she wants to go home, she must pay for the transporation fare that I paid for her which totaled for P1800. She said that someone owed her money and she would look for her but she doesn't really know where she is. So I just said that she cannot leave our house unless she pay me. And if she doesn's have money to pay for, she must still work for me for a month. I really don't wanna force her to work for me, but I just want to teach her a lesson that she just cannot walk out of us just like that after all the hassle she gave us. I still don't know where this leads but I hope whatever it is, it is for the good of all of us.

Itsy Bitsy Spider
There was this movie I saw once, the lead character is Meryll Streep and there was this scene where she was singing Itsy Bitsy Spider to her daughter and she was singing it with hand signals and it was really cute.
When I had Hannah, I remembered the song and I really wanted to sing it to her so I researched the lyrics online and came up with not just the lyrics but with the instructions on how to act the hand signals as well.
From Wikipedia:
The Itsy Bitsy Spider or The Eensy Weensy Spider is sometimes chanted rather than sung. Recitation of the rhyme is often combined with actions representing the words. For the first (and last) line, alternately touch the thumb of one hand to the index finger of the other. For "Down came the rain" hold both hands up and wiggle the fingers as you lower the hands. For "washed the spider out" sweep the hands to the side. For the third line bring both hands up and then to the sides to sweep out a semi-circle (the sun). Then wiggle the fingers upwards (to show the rain drying in the sun), and repeat the thumb/index finger movement to indicate the spider climbing up the spout.
There are various versions of the lyrics:
The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.
Down came the rain, and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun, and dried up all the rain
And the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.
(Some versions have climbed instead of went.)

She just won't sleep
I'm so puyat again! Just this early morning, from 1AM-3AM Hannah's wide awake and don't wanna go to sleep. After I fed her, I thought she's gonna sleep already but no she won't do that. So what I did was just sing her a lullabye song and just talked to her. She's just quiet and looking around, sometimes I would take her down and she would allow it but after about 5 minutes she would cry again so I have to carry her in my arms again.
At about 3AM, I fed her again and burped her. She's still awake but I lay her on our bed and little by little I could see her eyes closing which is the sign that she's falling asleep. Thank God! By that time I'm VERY VERY sleepy and it was a BIG sigh of relief that at last I put her to sleep.
I'm still the one in charge taking care of Hannah past bedtime instead of the nanny coz I still doesn't trust her with my baby on feeding her on the wee hours. I'm still afraid that she might misfed her besides I'm really getting used to on waking up every now and then just to feed her so it's really fine.

A Babysitter for Hannah
I already have a babysitter for Hannah! Her name is Juliet and although I find her very young(she's only 16 years old), she seems ok and likes Hannah. I still don't know much about her, we'll see on upcoming days if I will eventually trust her with Hannah. As of the moment, my mother is assisting her on holding and feeding my baby. I also delegated her some tasks like washing Hannah's bottles, making sure that she always have available bottles, check her diaper often and always makes sure to feed her on sched. I instructed her to feed Hannah every 2 to 3 hours and not feed her everytime she cries because not all of the baby's crying are due to being hungry especially if it's just less than an hour after feeding. She may just want to be cuddled or she wants someone to hold her.
Well, so far so good after 2 days. I hope she gets to bond with my baby coz let's face it, it's really hard to find someone not from your family to be trusted with a baby. I'm still monitoring her and am really hoping she'd last long with us.

Lena's Template
I'd like to thank Lena for my new template! When I first tried to install it on my daughter's blog it was not working properly so I e-mailed her and she was the one who fixed it.
Isn't this template cute? Well, there were a lot of other templates to choose from on her site you just have to visit there and choose what you like! It's all free but if you want to have a customized template especially made just for you, it is possible too with an appropriate fee of course!

Monay!
That's what we've been calling Hannah now because as days go by, her cheeks becomes chubbier and chubbier. She also weighs a little heavier than before and I'm really happy that she's gaining weight. I still don't know how much she's gained from previous 6.1lbs but I'm guessing she's already on 7-8lbs already. Wow! How time flies! Almost 4 weeks ago she was just this cute little fragile baby I'm holding and as days go by she becomes bigger and bigger...
